A trusted point of contact

Medical conversations can feel complicated, especially when several healthcare professionals are involved. Boris helps you put your questions and concerns into words. With your consent, he can contact your GP, specialist or another healthcare professional involved in your care to explain physiotherapy findings or discuss a question.

The aim is to clarify what you need help with and improve your understanding of the next steps that could be discussed. The doctor or specialist involved remains responsible for their own assessment and decisions.

Clarifying your needs

Organise your questions about symptoms, limitations and the progress of your treatment. Prepare together what you would like to discuss with your doctor.

Coordinating with healthcare professionals

Discuss whether additional telephone contact with your GP or specialist is necessary and possible, and which information you would like shared.

Discussing the next step

Discuss a request for assessment, further investigations or a referral. A discussion does not guarantee a referral or a particular outcome.

Started without a referral through direct access physiotherapy (DTF)?

With direct access physiotherapy (DTF), you visit the physiotherapist directly, without a referral. If a question for your GP or specialist arises during your care, Boris helps you consider an appropriate next step.

DTF does not mean that every contact with a doctor is automatically charged separately. Necessary coordination that forms part of your regular treatment does not automatically incur an additional fee. For additional work you request, we assess in advance whether it can be offered separately, taking the applicable billing and contractual conditions into account.

Additional support: €30 per 15 minutes

For support agreed in advance and offered separately outside regular treatment, the charge is€30 per 15 minutes of time actually spent. This may include preparation, additional discussions and reporting back to you.

We discuss the scope of the work, expected time and maximum cost in advance. No additional work exceeding that maximum is carried out without your agreement. This lets you know what to expect beforehand.

This rate applies only to work that may be billed separately. Routine record keeping, access to your records and the first copy of your own records do not incur an additional fee.

How to request support

  1. Tell us what you need.Contact us and briefly describe the difficulties you are experiencing.
  2. Agree on the details. We discuss what Boris can do, who will be involved, your consent and any costs.
  3. Discussion and feedback.Boris carries out the agreed work and discusses the outcome of the consultation with you.

Do you need a written document?

A report for a legal professional with approved authorisation costs €145. A written referral request with an explanation for a doctor or specialist costs €55. We agree in advance which service you need and which charges apply, so the same work is not charged twice.
